Hola, family and friends!
I´m going to Málaga today, so will catch you all up on the trip when I return on Sunday. I won´t be taking my computer with me, and I assume that I won´t have any kind of internet access until I return. Joelle and I are taking a bus from Oviedo to Madrid, and then a plane from Madrid to Málaga. We will arrive about midnight, but then we have all day Thursday, Friday, and Saturday to do what Joelle´s friend, Laura (we´re staying at her house with her family), has planned for us.
Apparently more snow has fallen in Spain, but not in Oviedo. People freak out if the temperature drops below 40 degrees here. It makes me laugh, because they have it good compared to what the weather is like in Iowa right now. Mom sent me a message with an update on the weather, and now it´s blowing snow and really cold. I´m thankful that I don´t have to brave that kind of weather here in Spain.
¨The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain.¨ - Eliza Doolittle, ¨My Fair Lady¨. No it doesn´t, Eliza. Every day has a chance of rain, and we aren´t in the plain, last I checked...
Ah well... Hasta la vista for now!
