Lesson learned: Flights from Madrid to wherever cost less than flights from Asturias to wherever.

Today I had a "hamburger" for lunch. It tasted like ham. But, it was a little better than the "chicken" hamburger I had yesterday. It, too, tasted like ham, and looked like ham. I think they combine ham with whatever meat, and call it the regular meat. But, I don't have the heart to tell my padres that these are not real hamburgers and that they were not to my liking. I MISS DAD'S BURGERS!!!!!!!!!!
We also had some French fries with the burger, and they tasted very good. Better than the hamburger.
I am never eating non-American hamburgers again! No ham either. Sorry, Mom.
This weekend I'm making plans with Joelle to take a trek up to see the Cristo (Christ) statue on top of a nearby mountain. We're hoping to go on Saturday, and just plan that it'll take all day to do so. I like saying that, like it's no big deal.
Later, I'm going to go to the spaceship mall near Joelle's house. We're just gonna walk around, and if I just happen to walk by a soccer jersey, I might get one. ;-) We'll just have to wait and see!

Sounds like a fun trip. I am glad that you are venturing out. First thing you can have to eat when you get home is a hamburger. What will it be...venison or beef? I love all the pictures and your captions in your album on facebook. Especially the ones with "Rufus". They are so fun! How was the "spaceship" mall?
