I can hardly believe that I leave in less than two weeks! Hope the weather will not affect our flights. Here are a few things I still have to do:
-pack
-activate AAA debit cards
-add more money to AAA debit cards
-buy a gift for my host family
-stop FREAKING OUT!!!!
Seriously.
Jenna, my sister, brought over her old digital camera to let me use while I'm in Europe. She's so nice. I'll also bring my own camera so that if something happens to one I still have the other. I also have lots of memory space and extra batteries (thanks Mom and Dad!). The extended family and Jenna left our house today after celebrating Christmas here. Grandma was crying when she hugged me, and I wasn't sure why. But she made me start crying as she said, "I'll be praying for you." Everyone else wished me luck in Spain and told me to be good and be safe. That is going to be hard when I think that I'll be alone with 16 other American students in a foreign country I've never been to. I just keep thinking that it will be an extended version of Costa Rica, but across an ocean with 7 hours' time difference. Plus there are no teachers from UNI to go to if there is a problem.
All for now! Hasta la vista!

What'ya so nervous about? It's a modern country, you're in the most beautiful part of it, and the food has got to be fantastic. See how close you are to the sea......that means alimentos frescos.....Suarte!!!!
