It was sleeting here. Seriously.
And I think I might turn into lettuce I eat so much of it. You who think I'm gonna turn into a hamburger or a pretzel, you're wrong. I'm destined to turn into lettuce.
Really don't like this green slimy thing that is obviously vegetable but I don't know if it is some sort of pea or a flat kind of bean. My madre keeps putting it in a soup with potatoes. I just don't have the heart to tell her, so I swallow them as best as I can without gagging. I think I know how Ron felt when he vomited slugs in the second Harry Potter book.
Decided I'll be 3 different things for Carnaval: rainbow, pirate, and a green, female version of Gonzo the Muppet. Will have lots of photos from each city's Carnaval celebration.
Tonight we have another big group meeting at the usual bar. We're celebrating Valentine's Day by writing notes to every other person, and Paula and Luna, the ladies in charge of our group, in a way, will teach us all the vocab to go along with love, sex, hatred, whatever we are just dying to know.
Woke up late this morning, so didn't get a chance to shower till after classes. I should have gotten a photo of that. It would have represented UNI abroad so well.
Also, I'm looking to take some photos to potentially enter in a photo contest, so if you readers see a photo with someone obviously wearing UNI gear (it has to be showing, and I don't think I can be in the photo) in front of an awesome something, let me know!
All for now! Hasta la vista!

I love all your pictures and the captions. It is just like you are here and telling me about it. What a beautiful view for the hike. I do remember a building looking like that in that movie. Such great architecture....thanks for sharing all of your experiences through your photos....love the one of Oviedo from the Christo statue...cool statue too. Dad liked the tractor...I think he needs to come over and sell more JD tractors in Spain. You wondered why they had plexiglass over the window. Do you think they are trying to preserve some glass? Or maybe trying to keep bats or birds out? Just wondering
